Below, we’ve listed some of the top scholarships worldwide for Indonesian students. Keep in mind—most universities offer their own bursaries or scholarships for international students, so double-check your chosen school’s options in case we’ve missed any.
Global
LPDP Scholarship – Sponsored by Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance (Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan), this scholarship funds studies at universities worldwide, including the University of Manchester, Trinity College Dublin, RMIT University, and more.
Australia
Australia Awards – These cover tuition, travel, and living costs for various programs at Australian universities. They prioritize students from developing Indo-Pacific countries who want to contribute to their home country’s growth after graduation.
Australian National University Scholarships for South Asia – Includes the College of Business & Economics South East Asia Merit Scholarship and the ANU Chancellor’s International Scholarship.
RMIT STEM Scholarships for Southeast Asia – RMIT awards five students from Southeast Asia a one-time A$10,000 payment for STEM studies.
US
Fulbright Indonesia – Offers opportunities for Indonesian students at all degree levels to study or work in the US.
